Green Drinks April-Sustainable Transportation (Free)

Whether its climate change concerns, better health or cheaper transportation, people thinking “outside of the gas tank” will be interested in hearing about electric vehicles and bicycles at Green Drinks in April.
This month’s Green Drinks networking event is being held at Attaboy Brewery in Frederick on Wednesday, April 17 from 5-7 pm.
Speaking during the networking event will be Ron Kaltenbaugh, president of the DC Electric Vehicle Association; and Mimi Zee, manager of Pedego Bikes in Frederick. They’ll talk about how people in Frederick County can get access to those forms of transportation and about their features and benefits.
The event is free; beverages from Attaboy and snacks from a food truck stationed at the brewery will be available for purchase.
Green Drinks events are held internationally every month for people people who work in the environmental field, with a lively mixture of people from non profits, academia, government and business. Green Drinks is co-organized by Envision Frederick County, Green Frederick, and the Frederick Zero Waste Alliance.
