Please join Frederick Friends Meeting to learn about The Healthy Green Amendment, a proposed amendment to Maryland’s State Constitution.
Rabbi Nina Beth Cardin will describe the amendment and answer questions. Rabbi Cardin works at the intersection of faith, nature and sustainability. She has served as national director for COEJL (the Coalition on the Environment and Jewish Life); is Advocacy Co-Chair of the Pearlstone Jewish Sustainability Coalition in Baltimore; founded the Baltimore Jewish Environmental Network and partnered with the Central Maryland Ecumenical Council.
Kallen Benson is a 14-year old high school student and Quaker activist who works to promote a healthy future for her own and future generations.
